Carly has returned to Geelong after completing her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Prior to this, Carly completed her Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University, majoring in Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning.
During her studies, Carly developed an interest in utilising both manual therapy and exercise prescription to treat a range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. She believes in taking an evidence-based approach and enjoys educating patients/clients to help them better understand their condition and develop effective self-management strategies.
Carly has grown up playing soccer, previously competing in the Victorian U19 National Premier League and more recently in the Victorian Women’s State League 1. She has a strong interest in soccer injuries and has completed her FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. Despite her love of soccer, Carly enjoys treating athletes from a variety of sports, including; Running/Athletics, AFL, Netball and Snow Sports.
Outside of work, Carly enjoys running, hiking, skiing and spending time with her cheeky golden retriever “Barkley”.
