Chris Stewart

Sports Physiotherapist

Chris graduated from Curtin University with a Masters of Physiotherapy, as well as an undergraduate degree in Human Movement, and a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation. In 2018, he completed his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, before being titled in 2019 as an APA Exercise and Sports Physiotherapist. Chris is currently completing his Maters in Research investigating hip muscle size and intramuscular fat.

Chris has previously worked with the Geelong Falcons Football Club for the U/18s team, and is currently the U/16s physiotherapist. He is a certified clinician in the GLA:D Knee and Hip Program, and has previously undertaken a tutor role in this space. Across his career, Chris has also assisted and been published in a number of research projects relating to hip and groin pain, including the data analysis for the Femoroacetabular Impingement and Hip Osteoarthritis study cohort (FORCe).

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, and taking part in the Park Run in Geelong and surrounds.

  • Hip and knee (acute and chronic) injuries
  • Sporting injuries
  • Hand therapy
  • Dry needling
