Emily has been with Corio Bay Health Group since 2015. She is a Senior Physiotherapist and Clinic Partner.
Emily followed her interest in human movement, health, and injury into a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy & Physiology) at the University of Melbourne, followed by a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.
While navigating early motherhood herself, Em has gone on to combine her passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a second focus on women’s and pelvic health, returning to the University of Melbourne to undertake further study in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
Em’s sports experience includes having worked with South Barwon Football Club and she spent 5 years as Head Physiotherapist for the Geelong Falcons. Em currently consults at Geelong Grammar School at Kennedy Medical clinic once a week.
Emily enjoys treating a broad caseload spanning sports and general musculoskeletal pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, continence concerns, prolapse, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related pain and postnatal recovery. She is particularly passionate about helping women return confidently to activity after having children and supporting women through the physical changes of perimenopause.
Emily is committed to bridging the gap in women’s healthcare by providing evidence-based, practical and compassionate physiotherapy alongside education and empowerment.
