Nicodemus Scheelings (He/Him)

Senior Physiotherapist

Nic, a Geelong local returns to Geelong after a decade working as a senior physiotherapist in Melbourne.

He has a special interest in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, although he enjoys working in all areas of physiotherapy.

Nic has joined the FAARA team as a natural progression of his passion for lower limb rehabilitation and after pursuing further professional development in foot and ankle rehabilitation.

In his work with the YMCA Gymnastics Geelong program, Nic has rehabilitated many athletes both acutely and post surgically from complex foot and ankle injuries to allow them to return to high level competitive sport. He has also developed a special interest in the management of Achilles rupture.

Along with his FAARA colleagues he collaborates closely with Geelong based foot and ankle surgeons such as Mr Otis Wang.

In addition to his foot and ankle expertise he has extensive experience as a competitive Olympic weightlifter, in gymnastics, football, cricket and martial arts.

Nic is an avid Geelong Cats supporter and enjoys photography in his spare time.
