David finished a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2000 at the University of Melbourne, and started working with Spinal Management Clinics of Victoria immediately after. This line of work helped David develop expert skills in the assessment and management of chronic back and neck pain. Since this time, he has worked further to specialise in chronic pain management. In 2013, David completed a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University and was awarded the prize of Dux for his graduating year. David is also due to complete a Graduate Certificate in Pain Management in 2016 through the University of Sydney.
David has worked within the Corio Bay Health Group since 2006, now primarily consulting at the Northern clinic. He also worked in the UK for three years from 2003-2006, which allowed him to work alongside and learn from leaders in the field of physiotherapy. David also works as a Clinical Panel physiotherapy consultant for the TAC one day a week.
David has also been involved in low back pain research trials through LaTrobe University and continues to remain up to date with the latest research in chronic back pain management.

In his spare time, David is kept busy running around with his three children, Millie, Greta and Otis.
