Gopinathan (Gopi) is an experienced Physiotherapist with many years of working in the orthopaedics and musculoskeletal rehabilitation areas.
With an extensive working career, treating both acute and outpatients, Gopi has recently relocated to Australia after most recently working as a Senior Physiotherapist in Dubai. His recent position was the Head of the Orthopaedic Department in a Multi-Specialty Hospital in UAE.
After obtaining his Bachelor and Masters of Physiotherapy, Gopi worked in India. While in India, Gopi worked in both hospital and private clinics managing musculoskeletal and sport related injuries.
He also has a passion for Paediatrics and Neurological Physiotherapy involving stroke victims and CP conditions.
Gopi has a thorough knowledge in using soft-tissue and joint mobilisations, Kinesiology taping (K-tape & Rock tape), Dry needling, Neurodynamic techniques. He is also well versed in using Electrotherapy and rehabilitation through exercises and stretching programs.

Gopi is registered to Practice in Australia with AHPRA registration, including New Zealand and UK and has a Life Membership with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
During Gopi’s free time, he spends quality time with his family and two sons. He is adventurous and likes 4 wheel driving while exploring his new home, Victoria and Australia.
