Experience, Excellence & Empathy

I was recently asked to describe our team in 3 words …. experience, excellence and empathy.

This best reflects the outstanding clinical, administration and reception staff I am fortunate enough to work with every day at CBHG. Our group has not been immune to the challenges presented over the past two Covid affected years, and I could not be more proud of the way our team has stepped up to continue to provide exceptional healthcare service to the wider Geelong community over this time. It is great to now see a little “Sunshine on the Horizon” with local winter sporting competitions having recommenced and our clinical team working hard to help keep both elite athletes and weekend warriors out on the park and enjoying their recreational and sporting pursuits.

Here at CBHG we continue to remain strongly connected to our local community and I am pleased to announce that we have recently extended our sponsorship agreements with our valued partners at :

  • AFL Barwon
  • The Geelong and District Football League
  • Geelong United Basketball / The Geelong Supercats
  • Barwon Sports Academy

These organisations, along with many others in our region play a major role in providing an avenue for local athletes to ply their trade, live a healthy lifestyle, develop their skills and achieve their goals. It is a pleasure to support them and work with like-minded people in contributing to the health and well-being of many Geelong locals. Our partnerships also provide a platform for us to share our knowledge in Sports and Injury Management. An excellent example of this is the recent completion of another successful AFL approved CBHG Sports Trainers Course conducted by Senior (and Geelong Premiership winning) Physiotherapist Nick Ames –  Go Cats!

In our quest to continue to provide our clients with the latest state of the art rehabilitation equipment we have recently added an Alter-G Anti-Gravity treadmill to our Geelong Clinic, to assist in the management and recovery from lower limb injuries and surgical procedures. More information regarding the “Alter-G” can be found on our website www.coriobayhealth.com.au

I would like to wish all those competing in local sporting competitions the very best of luck throughout season 2022. We hope that you all stay fit, active and healthy and rest assured in the knowledge that should any unfortunate injury occur, our team is ready, willing and able to get you back on track as quickly as possible.
