December Update

Well – What an eventful few months since my last update!

As many of you are aware, our long-standing Geelong Clinic at 283 Latrobe Tce was severely damaged by a late-night fire in early September, initially resulting in the relocation of our clinical and administration team to our other Clinics across the region as well as additional locations at Latrobe Health Centre and Point Lonsdale Medical Group. The team responded quickly, working tirelessly over 3-4 weeks to find and fit out a new location for our Geelong Clinic at 103 Corio Street in the CBD. A monumental effort by all has now resulted in the entire team successfully moving into our new premises which we are delighted to now call home. With a bright and spacious reception area, large consulting rooms, a fully equipped gym and ample parking at and around the new venue, our staff and clients have provided some amazing feedback that we have been thrilled to receive. If you are yet to visit our new Clinic at 103 Corio Street, we look forward to welcoming you in the future! We have some exciting plans for our new facility in 2023 so stay tuned…

In other news, members of our amazing CBHG clinical and administration team were treated to a wonderful few days on the Gold Coast in mid-October, attending the Healthia – Inspired Conference at Sea World Resort. In what was a wonderful few days of shared learning and upskilling, it was great to also see our team “let their hair down” and thoroughly enjoy some time together. The knowledge gained at events such as this is invaluable in keeping our team up to date with the latest in clinical research findings, which in turn, allows the implementation of effective and evidence based treatment and rehabilitation strategies leading to optimal outcomes for our valued clients.

In signing off for 2022, I would like to thank all our wonderful staff and clients for your support during another successful (and eventful) year at Corio Bay Health Group.
