Originally from Geelong, Georgia graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), where she developed a keen interest in private practice Physiotherapy. Complementing her physiotherapy studies, Strength and conditioning has formed a large part of her skill set, having over 6 years of experience working as a personal trainer across gyms and sporting clubs in both Melbourne and Geelong.
Georgia has had experience working with both amateur and elite athletes through the local football league (GFL) and with the Geelong VFL side, confirming her passion for helping athletes in the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries.
Previously from an endurance background, competing on and off track in long distance running, Georgia now occupies herself with other activities like surfing, skiing or hiking, but also enjoys going to the gym or a Pilates class to keep fit and mobile!
Her active lifestyle has led to a few major injuries over recent years, which has given her an invaluable understanding of the toll injury has both physically and psychologically, confirming for her the importance of a supportive, effective and stimulating rehabilitation program.
Georgia has a passion for injury prevention and holistic lifestyle change, to ensure that people are not only performing their chosen sport and every day activities pain free, but also living a healthy and active lifestyle. Georgia uses her experience and skill set to design individualised and progressive rehabilitation programs for both rehabilitation and injury prevention, supplementing this approach with hands on manual therapy.
