Dr Khullar has completed his Diploma in Sports Medicine with the International Olympic Committee and joined the Sports and Exercise Medicine Fellowship Program at the Australasian College of Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2015. He has been active in ongoing research with many publications to his name.
Sachin has a love for many sporting pursuits especially cricket and soccer. He has provided expertise to various athletes in Australian Rules Football, A-League, FFA Cup soccer, gymnastics, boxing, water polo, rugby, cycling, including track cycling, and many other disciplines.
He continues to serve as AFL’s academy doctor and currently is the team doctor for both Vic Metro U-16 and U-18 football teams. The highlight of Dr Khullar’s career so far, has been his appointment as the team leader/field of play doctor for the track cycling team at the 2016 Rio Olympics and also being part of the medical team for the Richmond football team during their premiership year.
He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries in various age groups, especially children and adolescents, as well as chronic tendon and musculoskeletal issues in mature aged populations. He is keen in providing evidence based medical advice for early recovery and return to health, sporting and work life.
