Sam holds a Masters in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University and has completed courses in Pilates and McKenzie Therapy for low back pain. He is passionate about improving flexibility, strength and movement efficiency, aiming to enhance the quality of life of all his patients and to allow his sporting patients to maximise their availability and performance in their sporting endeavours.
He is currently a physiotherapist for the Geelong Supercats basketball team and has been a Western Bulldogs/Footscray VFL trainer since 2015. Sam enjoys implementing contemporary treatment methods used in elite sports into his clinical practice.
He regularly completes in triathlons, swimming and running events and has completed 3 half-ironman distance triathlons. Sam is a believer of the saying “practice what you preach” and enjoys complimenting his endurance training with strength training and yoga.
