Adam Walters

Senior Physiotherapist

Adam graduated with Honours from The University of Melbourne in 1998. He has worked extensively in private practice across Melbourne, Geelong and the Surf Coast, including several clinical management roles where he has been responsible for mentoring and supervising the development of graduate physiotherapists.

As Physiotherapist of the Williamstown Football Club for 13 years and VFL State Team Physiotherapist in 2001 and 2002, Adam has gained vast experience with the physiotherapy management of AFL, VFL and local footballers.

Adam’s involvement with the Melbourne University Low Back Pain Research Team in the Specific Treatment of Problems of the Spine (STOPS) Group has fostered a clinical interest in the management of low back pain and spinal conditions with an evidence based approach.

Adam’s own sporting pursuits include Victorian representation in field hockey from U13 to U21 level, participation in Victorian Institute of Sport Development squads, success at the U17 Australian Championships and at State League One Level in Melbourne.
