Dr. Zhen Zheng
B. Med, Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China), 1993
PhD, University of Melbourne (Australia), 2001
Dr Zheng is a widely respected practitioner. She is also a lecturer and researcher at RMIT University (Melbourne). Zhen is also the Coordinator of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Acupuncture Program at the University and is actively involved in the Chinese medicine professional bodies.
Dr Zheng's PhD thesis was about pain in older people. Since then, she has developed a special interest in pain management.
Dr Zhen: "Pain is a common yet complex symptom, and can affect one's life profoundly. Pain sufferers often feel irritable, have low energy and insomnia, and can suffer from functional impairment. I believe pain and the sufferer should be understood and managed as a whole, and a combination of various therapies often achieves better therapeutic results than one particular therapy does."
If you would like to know more about the theories, western medicine explanations, evidence, or current research development about acupunture and Chinese herbal medicine, Zhen is available to give presentations about these topics. Zhen currently consults at our Geelong clinic on Thursdays (all day) and Friday mornings.

Having grown up with Chinese medicine (her father is also a Chinese medicine
practitioner), Diana was inspired to take the same path when she saw the
tremendous results for patients who didn’t respond to conventional
treatment. Diana graduated with Distinction in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology from RMIT (Double Bachelor Degrees), then completed her clinical internship at Nanjing’s
prestigious Jiangsu Provincial Hospital. With a growing interest in pain
management and musculoskeletal conditions, she also holds an Advanced
Diploma in Myotherapy to complement her acupuncture skills.
Diana’s other special interests include digestive complaints, stress relief, hormonal conditions and herbal medicine.
Diana consults at our Geelong clinic on Wednesdays (all day).
