One of Corio Bay Health Group’s favourite patients and Footy Great, Don Mathieson celebrated his 95th birthday yesterday. Don has been attending Corio Bay Health Group for many years under the guided care of physiotheraptists Luke Johnson, Jeff Oxley and David Shannon. Don is the best know administrator in the Geelong region’s football world. He spent many years as the President of the Geelong Football League and President and other positions at St Mary’s Football Club. He is the local Football Best and Fairest, named the Mathieson Medal and there is a stand at the St Mary’s Football Club named after him. His bright, bubbly personality is always accompanied by a cheeky grin. Don is undoubtedly an amazing man and we wish him all the best.
